I went to the Philippines last september for Chuseok holidays. Flying to Manila took 4 hours and from there to Cebu, it's only 1 hour and really cheap with local airlines. (You have direct flights from Seoul to Cebu though) Keep some change with you as you have to pay airport taxes! For a domestic flight it will be 200 pesos and for international, 750.
Also, beware of scams at the airport. When I got out of Manila airport, I had to change terminal to take a domestic flight and some man presented himself with an airport worker card and told us to take a special taxi to change terminals, he told us to pay something like 600 pesos (10 euros)! A few meters ahead, there was a "free shuttle bus" sign, so of course we just ignored him. Also, taxis are extremely cheap so you should never pay more than 100-200 pesos to get around.
On the road to Movenpick Resort. My opinion of Cebu is mixed but maybe I haven't stayed long enough. While the monuments are really beautiful, the city itself isn't great. I feel like there is no need to stay more than one day here. Maybe because a lot of things seemed to be closed when I was there...
Heritage of Cebu monument
The buildings around were very old with some construction workers... We had a lot of stares since we were the only tourists...

Fort San Pedro
A really nice fort, not far from the ferry boat terminal and Plaza Independencia. No smoking here.
